TwinPumpkins Website Revamp
The new TwinPumpkins is very simple in design, and it merges Bodhisamadhi.org's contents. Visitors will be able to download Hokkien Dhamma talks by the late Venerable Bhante Suvanno and the various meditation instructions in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
TwinPumpkins had also branched out to create another section called Starters. Starters concentrates on matters such as finance, business, consulting, and many other new contents including a forum which will cater to all 3 sections: Starters, TwinPumpkins and Bodhisamadhi.
Meanwhile, TwinPumpkins will maintain as the umbrella to cover health and fitness, charity and the paranormal. Of course, our blog here remains as TwinPumpkins blogspot.
We have recently shut down our old forum because there had been minimal monitoring and zero promotion. The new forum under the care of Starters will have higher security features and it aims to build communities to share information and tips for better options in decision making.
Stay tuned, the new site shall be up very soon and it will be more informative than the previous! Paranormal enthusiasts alert, there will be more true stories reporting in this category. There will also be a medical practitioner in our health and fitness section to answer your questions and provide you with more informative articles. - TPress

Long term donation
MAKNA is the cancer association in Malaysia. They were seeking for funds for children cancer patients. The whole thing was simple, and monthly payments can be made via credit card.
At least now I need not be looking for opportunity to give, because I know that each day I'm giving something to the foundation. In addition to that, of course, occasionally I can still give some to other people.
What I'm looking for is an orphanage in Penang. Any idea, anyone? My mom and I wish to become volunteers for the orphanages. But I only found one, is there none other besides the one that has listing in the Internet?

API's Bigfoot Story
It's simply great! We can recognise it!
Finally, the Malaysian local newspaper, The Star, is making sense in its reporting, and base on the facts as those collected by API through interview research. They may not have stated API (http://www.api.sg) in there as source, but certainly the senior reporter who did the feature did much better refering to facts from the API site rather than the previous reports based on two animal footprints combined as one and foolishly proclaimed as a singular Bigfoot Footprint by some publicity-hungry groups. API's article is the Malaysian Bigfoot Enigma, a factual research paper that already got international attention and applause. See http://www.api.sg/research/MYbigfoot/BF.htm .
As our Affiliate Member Charles (abductboy) said it: "Our role is that the world knows the truth of things. To really debunk the myth. Who says is not important. The SELF is not important. TRUTH is."
Such well said words. And the whole of MALAYSIA and the WORLD looks upon The Star as the reliable source, with a readership of almost 80% (has it reached that percentage already?) and is a reputable national newspaper. A great applause to the writer, Nelson Benjamin, in his well-researched feature on Sunday Star (12 March 2006)! Well-done!

Such is the kammic inclination
When I was traveling in a public bus recently (long distance), who would occupy the seat in front of me other than a Theravadian monk. I didn't know who he is, he is very likely to be a Thai monk from the Siamese language he used over the phone.
My journey is far, an overnight journey. When morning came, the bus stopped at a rest area where everyone went down to have some breakfast. I took the chance to do dana, getting some waffles and a bottle of dragon fruit juice. Everyone stared at me as I knelt down at the food court and presented my dana to the monk.
It was just a few days ago that I was not too happy, not being able to do dana in commemoration to dad's death anniversary. But I got to do that after thinking about it. That is the kammic force, my inclination, my desire...or whatever you choose to call it, that gave me the opportunity to fulfill my wishes.

Traveling year for Ajeyya
- Penang - Alor Setar: to get home and get to work, of course. Everyone knows that Penang is my home.
- Hong Kong: promised mom to bring her there for her birthday, air tickets booked and paid for... no turning back!
- Singapore: For API ... ahem... okay, okay, just an excuse...and for private business of course.
Right, so I'm going to travel around a lot. Thought I might end up in Myanmar, but now it is not in my mind. Should I ordain when I get older, maybe when I turn 40 or 45, I might choose to be a maechi in Thailand instead. Or just as a full time yogi at the meditation centre, no need for ordination.
Yup, if life goes as is, that's the way it will be for me.
This month's charity work...
Next month's plans were ready... but we will only reveal it next month, of course.
Stay tuned!
